Steering knocking....

Noticed the last few days if i'm sitting in traffic and start moving the steering wheel i'm getting a knocking noise coming from the front left hand corner, any idea what this could be? I can feel the knock through the steering wheel. Could it be a track rod end, balljoint, top mount? Not sure what are common failures on these? (lightning)
